JANUARY 2023

HELLO THERE

Firstly, thanks so much for taking the time to click on this and have a ready through. I decided that I’d like to start up floofin’ again just to keep in contact with everyone a bit more & to keep you up to date with what’s happening with my lovely business. Plus, it’s light relief from all the news and politics!

I hope you’re all settling well into the new year. I really hope 2023 brings everyone the magic and gentle fun we all want and deserve!

I am currently writing this in the comfort of my home after clearing and cleaning the studio for a bright and gentle new year, and ease in to the floral year of 2023. It’s quiet at this time of year as seasonal flowers are limited but because of the mild weather we are getting vast amounts of tulips, beautiful foliages and the paperwhites are really coming into their own.

I had a peaceful and restful festive break, giving me time to reflect on what a beautiful year GARAGE had last year and the amazing flowers I got to make with such a talented bunch of florists. I am incredibly eager to get started again with floral madness, alas (and I am very grateful for this) I have a couple more weeks of restful planning before it all starts to pop off a little!

Here’s What’s Coming Up This Month…

Mixed British Grown Tulips

This January I am Launching Monthly Bunches.

Sticking to seasonal produce (as always), I am offering bunches of seasonal stems each third Monday of every month. Just a lovely bunch of single variety blooms of the best in season. As you know I became good friends and clients of new local growers and flower farmers, so you’ll know that all the stems come with very little emissions. So, enjoy your bunches on your desk, dining table or office twice a month! Purchase every two weeks to make sure you get your flower fix!

It’s a really good idea for your work reception or your home office space. See below for seasonal flowers throughout the year!

Deliveries this month are on MONDAY 16TH JANUARY

I KNOW IT’S EARLY BUT..

I’m really going to focus as much as i can on working with local farmers, the flowers that were grown here last year were so much more beautiful than any of the imported stems. It’s just so wonderful to see these blooms that are low emissions AND absolutely stunning.

After the madness of last summer’s heatwave, I realised I have to continue and work hard to use only locally grown and sourced produce, working closely with farmers. As we are in a cost of living crisis I am trying to use my years of knowledge in the industry to create floral work that doesn’t cost the earth.

Feb 14th

With that in mind, this Valentine’s day I am not doing bouquets but plated up hand- woven baskets (they’re honestly stunning- I can’t wait to show you all!). I’ll be opening up pre- orders on the last week of January for you to buy as I’m making to order, as per usual only a certain amount will be created. Again, making sure that I have no wastage and every part of the process is as eco friendly as possible.

subscribers to my emails will get to buy them first, early bird release!
